El Jacalito is arguably the best Mexican restaurant in Big Bear these days, though a couple others place close seconds. Their food is good, and not too hard on the wallet if you know what to get. Their burritos are a lot of food for the money, and their green sauce is just right. The chips they serve are really good, and they have a nice atmosphere and a well decorated place with lots of flatscreens and a good bar. Like Nottinghams, they have the added benefit of being close to the Marina Resort, only a block away up Pine Knot, just down from the movie theater.
